湖北中南鹏力海洋探测系统工程有限公司成立于2009年，是中船重工中南装备有限责任公司、湖北省高新技术产业投资有限公司、宜昌国投产业投资基金、宜昌高新产业投资控股集团有限公司等国有企业参股单位，位于湖北省宜昌市高新区，是专业从事海洋与大气探测仪器设备研发、制造、销售及海洋技术、信息服务高科技企业。公司现有职工110人，平均年龄32岁，技术研发人员60人。公司在 十一五 及 十二五 期间承担多项国家科技部863计划与973计划重大研发专项； 十三五 截止目前牵头和参与承担国家科技部海洋环境安全保障专项重点研发计划项目各1项。公司拥有30项专利、 10多个软件著作权、5项国家工信部颁发的频率核准证书、2项商标权。

公司依托军工技术研发海洋装备，服务海洋各个领域。近年来，公司主要产品有海洋雷达产品（高频地波雷达、目标探测雷达）、海洋光电产品（大、中、小型光电）、海洋监测移动平台（大、中、小型平台）、海洋特种装备（反恐手雷、夜视侦查镜、UPS电源管理系统、液浸式计算机、智能数据终端等）。
